Amit Ravindernath Sharma is the writer and director of Maidaan (transl. Field), an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film produced by Zed Studios, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Boney Kapoor. It is based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, an innovative football coach in India from 1952 to 1962, and stars Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao.[3][4]

On April 10, 2024, previews of the movie will be held; on April 11, 2024, which is Eid, the movie will be released in theatres all over the world.[5]
